Well I hate to say it but my inner two year old got the best of me this weekend. I played/sculpted dolls all weekend and loved it :)   But I wrestled her into submission tonight. I thought my run would feel better then it did since I had the two days off. but my legs were heavy and my rught knee felt a bit wobbley Hmmmm wonder why??

My run felt OK, my right knee and shin started bugging towards the end. It's weird, cuz a bit after I stop it seems fine. Slowed down a bit at the end.

Didn't sleep to well last night. But my run actually felt a bit better then last night. I was just a scad (meaning Mili. secs.)  faster also ;)

I need some prayers and good vibes to go out to a co-worker of mine. She was heading home last night from work and was in a horrific accident. It is not looking very good right now.

O my mom called right before I left work, my church house is having a display of over 500 nativities set up for Christmas. She wanted to go so I ran at the gym so I could make it fast. Lately I seem to be at the gym more. So I had to potty at mile 3 and forgot to stop my watch so I don't know what my time was. Mom was happy with my and it was a fun Christmasy thing to do with her.

Had a crazy weekend... and didn't get a run in. I think I'm having some sort of mental block when it's coming to my weekend run. Or on the other hand I might just be mental :)

Had a pretty good run tonight, a bit of tummy trouble at the end. I felt a bit slow and I think my time shows that also.

Tonight felt a bit better then last night, I don't think my time is any better though. I took some meds. before I ran... that might have helped with my knee. All in all not too bad. :)

Well tonight I deliberately slowed down, I have been having motivational trouble by the end of the week so I was thinking if I slowed it down, and took it a bit easier I might have more gumption for the weekend. But I have to say that it was not fun, I wanted to run faster and at times had a hard time holding back, I also didn't take any anti-inflammatory  meds. tonight and my knee was a bit achy, not bad... just annoying.

Well my daughter had a concert tonight so I knew that I had to hurry to get my run in, and of course my tummy decided that I could not hurry :(` I swear every mile I had to stop to potty, it was not a pretty run. But at least I got some miles in! Her concert was fun and Christmasy, so I enjoyed it!

Well tonight was pretty much a repeat of last night. Potty issues and all. I will be running with a new group of runners tomorrow so please keep your fingers crossed that my tummy issues won't bug me in the morning. I don't think I was to leave a bad impression with them :)

Today I was able to hook up a run with some new people. I found out much to my dismay that they were very fast. The one guy that invited me was nice enough to run with my, but I was still pushing myself to at least look like I could handle it. By the time I don't think it was that much faster then I normally run, but for some reason I had a hard time. It was a slight down hill, then we turned around to have the slight up hill on the way back AGHHH!!! I felt like a cow :(

Well today was not a very good run, my shin was bugging and then I had to potty stop about every mile for a potty stop. AGHHHH! Things did not feel good today, but I slugged out 6 miles :)

I guess there is one good thing, my team (a couple girls from work) drew out for the Moab Half YAHOOOO should be a good time. I fell totally lucky, this is the second year we put in and both times we got in.

I went to the gym today, I didn't take any meds. and I wanted to see just how much it was bugging. I made it two miles on the tread mil before I could not take it any more. So I did three more miles on the eliptical. 

I think I will try to do a bit more cross training until I go to the doctor in a couple of weeks. I also went to a natural heath place today and had some scans and stuff done... I guess will see if some of this will help me feel better.

Tried to get in more but it just was not possible, been having lots of muscle fatigue and just plan tiredness. I start some new thyroid medication in the morning and some other supplements so hopefully things will turn around. 

Just was wondering if any of you have opinions on homeopathic medicine?

No running today... I was too excited to be a new grandma!!! YAHOOOO !! My new grandson was born around 12:40 today. 7lbs 3 onz. 21 inches long, he is healthy pink, chubby and beautiful! Mom, baby and Dad are all doing well. This is my forth grandchild, second grandson, and my oldest son's first child :) My daughters camera is recharging and I will try to post a picture of him later. What a beautiful early Christmas present!

Ran on the treadmil at the gym... not bad, just couldn't get the gumption to run in the snow. :( I tried to post pictures of my new grandson on yesterday's post but I don't think I did it right. I have updated my blog so check out his pictures there.

Hard run...everything felt very tight, like I could not get warmed up...but it was lovely and sunny...but cold.

Didn't sleep very well last night. I decided to run on the treadmil to see if my shin would not hurt as much as on the road. It still bugged for the first two miles.
I had an appointment with the doctor today, he ajusted my insoles and gave me a perscription, wrapped my calf and I go see him in a couple of weeks to see if this will help.

Crazy day today... it's my youngest son's birthday :) i ran 5 on the treadmil again, my shin is still bugging. Been icing, and have a compression bandage on it, so I hope it helps.
