I went to the gym today, I didn't take any meds. and I wanted to see just how much it was bugging. I made it two miles on the tread mil before I could not take it any more. So I did three more miles on the eliptical.

I think I will try to do a bit more cross training until I go to the doctor in a couple of weeks. I also went to a natural heath place today and had some scans and stuff done... I guess will see if some of this will help me feel better.

Did n't time my run today.

CRAP about the shin! Maybe Advil and ice for the rest of the week might be a good idea. It won't hurt your training and it will help it heal ;) 20 minutes of ice very hour or two does wonders. I use a large ace bandage to keep it in place, that way I can still get my chores done. 600 to 800 mg of ibuprofen every 6 to 8 hours is a nice dose. No, I am not a doctor, but I play one on TV! ;) If you did this for 4 days and no running, you'd at least see what's up. Elevation is a good thing too.

Thanks Marion, I think that is good advice... I think I might try it. I also got some different medication for my thyroid and some other supplements so I hoping that I can get feeling better. I have been having some major fatigue issues.

Not good. What is your tsh level? I have to keep mine at about a 1 or I am a crazy person! IF your tsh is too high, it makes it almost impossible to heal too. Hang tough honey!
