Too much homework for my daughter so I was at the gym alone. Did intervals on the elliptical. 2 min moderate, 2 min hard. Trying to keep my RPM the same between the easy and the hard intervals. My knee was feeling OK so I thought I would get a mile on the treadmill, but it was a no go :( It's still a bit buggy so I decided to back off and hope that it will feel better soon. Then did upper body/back machines, abs and tons of stretching.

We are going on vacation to California Saturday... I hope I will be able to get some gym time in at the hotel or some biking/running along the beaches. Also just looking forward to some down time.

All this cross training will pay off when you get back to running, and even before. It's making you strong.

Oh, have fun on vacation! Everything always feels good on vacation. I hope you find a way to keep up your fitness; Carolyn is right, it will pay off when you get back to more running.
