5 miles at a high intensity then one more at a moderate to easy intensity, all on the elliptical. This was also the first time I did a workout with out my knee wrapped. Felt pretty good! Did lots of arms and abs after.

Update on daughters eye... We went back to the cornea specialist and her eye is looking better, there has been some significant improvements, and we go back in a week again to make sure it keeps getting better.

Update on my cold... yesterday was miserable... today I feel  about 70% better :)

Your knee is feeling better. Your daughter's eye is getting better. And your cold is getting better. It's all good!

Way to keep up the workouts! I'm glad your cold is passing.

Glad EVERYTHING is looking up for you! Keep working hard - it will pay off when you get to come back!!

I'm glad all is improving. I just read all of your post from last week. Have you found another ortho who IS a runner?? There is one in SLC that a ton of runners go to. I don't want to tell you to ignore you Doc, but there are some doc's who really are clueless about running and there are some who will be a lot more helpful to a runner. The only long term study of runners that I know of shows that joint replacement #'s are identical in runner and non runner groups.
