Went snow shoeing with Sue and our husbands. It was fantastic to get out of the valley and up to the clear sky and clean air! Probably not the best training for my running, but it was the best for my state of mind! Had tons of fun laughing joking and yes falling (I'm so clumsy) I might try to get a small run in tomorrow, but I'll have to see how my knee feels. It's really buggy today!

I'm sure snow shoeing is a great workout and if it helped your state of mind, then it's all good.

I've done a heap of snow shoeing and I can say that it is great on cardio, which has the obvious benefits for your running. It's hard on the quads and hamstrings, so that it good to. Glad you got out. Where did you go?

Jun, we parked at the bottom of Wheeler canyon, then took icebox canyon up to maples and back. Maples is up by Snowbasin ski resort.

Snowshoeing is the BEST xtrain for running with the benefit of clean air, great company and laughters...sounds perfect! Hope the knee behaves tomorrow!

You could come up with a killer tongue twister using Sue and snowshoeing.
