So I have not been running but have been on the elliptical a bit.

Had my MRI and went to the doctor last night to read the results. He confirmed a stress fracture so to speak. He could not see an actual fracture but both of the bones that lead from the hip to the pubic bone were inflamed (White) not a good color on an MRI. So I will be going to PT for hip and core stability and strenghting. I asked when I could run again and he said maybe July. There was also excessive fluid in my hip joints, He was not certain what this is from.

Really trying to be positive... it could have been arthitis... that would have been worse. But have to say it has me rather down... really trying not to cry too much. I will try to keep you posted on my progress.

Boo on the stress fracture!

Maybe the excess fluid was urine. Were you holding it in a long time?

Burt, you're gross.

I know a stress fracture is bad news, but at least it will heal, right? Here's hoping that you feel better soon and get stronger in the process.

I hope things are going well for you Lori! I will again miss you at Ogden. I don't know what that race has against you lately :(

Me too. Hope you're healthy and the PT is making you stronger.
