My work puts on a 5K run and 2 mile walk every year. We have changed the venue so today at my lunch break I ran the new course with one of my work running friends. I was hoping she would bring her garmin and we could plot the course exactly, but we just estimated where we needed to start and end. I think it was more like 3 1/2 instead of 3.1 (I guess we will need to run it again) She is a slower runner then me (if you can imagine that) so it was just a nice easy run.

I will get some more miles in and post the total after work.

So I ran 4 more miles after work. I think I could have done more, but I had some tummy trouble so I guess it was time to stop. Boy we were sure slow at lunch LOL.

You finished in 158th place out 655 women in Ogden. That would put you in the top 25% in the group of women that were confident enough in their fitness to try a marathon. It would be safe to assume that Ogden marathon stats are representative of the speed distribution in the state of Utah. With that assumption, 75% of the women that would try a marathon would be slower than you. And that is in a state of Utah where people are more fit than the national average.
