Well yesterday was a big goose egg for me. I woke with a headache and a few strong bouts of nausea. No throwing up though thank heavens. I think I had just over done it, I felt better later in the day but buy then I was way too busy with other things.

Today I was by myself... I'm starting to realize that Sue and I are not on the same page when it come to training. I will probabaly always run with her when I can, but I will need to add more miles on my own if I'm going to train the way I need to, so I can accomplish the goals I have. Anyway the hardest thing about todays run was probably my mental attitude of getting out the door.... and the last mile didn't feel too hot. Other then that a pretty pleasant run. Should have had more miles this week, but I guess I'm OK with it.

I know what you're saying about Sue. I can't find anyone who wants to train like I do. No one is that crazy. Fortunately, I do have some friends who are willing to run consistently, just not as many miles as I do, so I run with them on Saturday mornings and then do more miles on my own.

Have you registered for the Canyonlands Half lottery? It's open now.

I haven't yet... one of the Barbie girls was going to register our team... then send us the info. I will have to get with her on Monday. If they bale out I will do it on my own and hope I get in.

I know what you mean. It's fun to have a running partner, but you really have to be ok with the solo runs if you want to be consistent and reach your goals. And congrats on conquering the "out the door" barrier too. It's a hard time of year to be a runner, but so worth it!

Running partner? What are those. In the summer I can get Enoch out a couple/few days a week on the trails, but he doesn't like to do my crazier morning outings. I think I need to either move to Lehi (where crockett is) or Logan (where jon and crew are) if I am going to find someone with a similar training mentality. Why do I feel like I just insulted myself. Ha.

Good job getting out the door. As long as you can do that then you will have a successful run.
