Tonight was a pretty good run, there was one pretty bad thing, I forgot my sports bra. I was temped to go commando, I don't have much in that department, but I wore my regular one instead. I like running the parkway in Ogden now that the snow has melted off it. I usually run the upper half, more people are on that path, but the past few times I have run the lower part. It's pretty going around the 21st street pond, but tonight as I was going around the back something caught my attention and spooked me, it ended up being a few deer. Then about a mile later I was coming around a corner and I could see something by a tree. I thought it was a person but as I got to it... it was just a bag someone hung on the tree. I figured I'd had enough spookiness so I turned around after that.

Shins started to buggning the last little bit, I think I will take it easy tomorrow.

Nice run. I find that if I am stressed about something *during* a run (usually dog encounters) it can wear me out more than the running itself. Your splits look great. I'm jealous. (My average this morning was in the 11's. Waaa.)

I don't know how you're able to do your first mile in 9:47. I can hit that pace later, but I always have to start slower than that.

That's funny about the sports bra. One time I came to work early to run on the treadmill and wore my running clothes at first. After the run, I realized that I hadn't brought a regular bra to change into. I didn't want to wear my sweaty sports bra all day, and my husband happened to be home that day, so I had him bring me a regular one.

Sno, it really was spooky too me, and it took a bit to try and calm myself after, I think you are right... things like that can take it out of you.

Carolyn, I should probably try to start slower, especially when I need to up my miles more. I hate when I forget things that I need... it made for a bit of an uncomfortable run.

Funny bra story. There is no running with out the girls tethered down. It's just not safe ;)

The spooks are hard to shake when running. I seem to be WAY more superstitious when running :)

Remember my dear- half of your runs need to be slow and easy. Don't let those shins come back to bite you :) I wish we were closer, I'd slow you down for sure :)
