So because the shin was buggin all day after my run I thought I better not push my luck so I went to the gym and did body pump class (hour long weight lifting class) I have not done it in a looonng time, so it kicked my tush. Then I did 30 minutes on the eliptical. I'm getting bummed about my running... hope I can recover to do the winter training series.

Crumb- what is up with the shin??? I sure hope it gets feeling better. Maybe skip running for a week and RICE it. Your work out today sounded GREAT!!!

Marion... I don't know what is going on... I feel like all of a sudden I can't do anything right, like I'm falling apart:( I think you are right though... the plan for the upcoming week will be to x-train on the eliptical and hope that it will feel better. I go back to the Dr. in a week so if it's not better by then I hope he can figure out what is bugging.

BE careful with the cross training. The biking I was doing when my calf was pulled actually was keeping it from healing. I sure hope that doc has some answers for you. Waht do you get when you Google your symptoms?
