My run today didn't feel real great, but it was not terrible either. I ran the lower part of the Ogden River Parkway, around the 21st. pond twice, then back. I ran to the underpass at Washington Blvd. because yesterday when I ran the upper part, (The last part of the Marathon) it was flooded under Washington blvd. They have had to divert the marathon before because of this, and it's a shame because there is springy boards to run on under Washington blvd. Anyway they have cleared the water so it should be good. The bright purple flowers were in bloom also, I hope they stay for the marathon, seems to me they were in bloom last year during the marathon.

My second husband is moving out this weekend... :( now I will be back to more chores for me. Does anyone feel sorry for me LOL. Have to say I'm really going to miss having him doing all my cooking and cleaning of the kitchen, it was paradise while it lasted.

You're familiarity with the Ogden marathon course is really going to help you in the marathon. I wish I had any clue about it. And I do hope the purple flowers are in bloom.

Great splits. See you in a couple of weeks.

Carolyn, if you have any questions just ask. I have participated in the marathon every year, not alwasy the full, but I have run it on a relay team, I have run the half, and I have run the full about 5 times.

I am so sorry to hear that news. I had no idea you've been under that kind of sorrow! No wonder you have been struggling with your energy and your body aches! Big internet-hugs to you from me! You just be good to yourself and hang in there. You are a beautiful, dear person and you deserve great happiness.

Lori,

I'm arriving in Utah the Wednesday before the race. Do you think we could arrange a driving tour of the course on Wednesday evening or sometime on Thursday, or even Friday?

From Metcalf Running on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 11:24:46 from 207.225.192.66

Sno, am I sensing some sarcasim? LOL thanks for the sympathy :) Some good news hubby number 1 did do the dishes this morning before we left for work, hopefully he will continue to help.

Carolyn, Yes I can take you on a drive of the course. Just get ahold of me and we can make the arrangements.

From snoqualmie on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 11:55:45 from 67.171.56.164

I'm not sarcastic at all. But I AM confused. #2 is leaving, #1 did the dishes this morning? huh? It's really none of my business. I am just trying to express the caring I feel for you. :)

From Metcalf Running on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 12:26:26 from 207.225.192.66

Sorry Sno, let me explain. Hubby 2 was a friend of my husbands that moved in with us right before Christmas with his daughter. Bad divorce... anyway, he was such a helpful house guest that I called him my second hubby. He cooked all the dinners, cleaned my kitchen, basically all I have had to do was my family laundry and a bit of vacuming for the past few months. I may have cooked a dinner or two. So they got a new house and have moved out now. I'm happy for them, but sad that I don't have someone doing so many of my chours. Like I said though my real hubby has started to help out more, let's cross our fingers he keeps it up :)

Sno, I guess I was the one with the sarcasim... needed some sympathy when in reality I have had a very easy past few months. My princess times are a thing of the past, it's back to my real life.

Well, as I have mentioned once in my blog, I AM a member of the Church of the Unwarranted Assumption. Thanks for setting me straight. I was so worried about you! :)

From Metcalf Running on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 15:01:24 from 207.225.192.66

Sno, Its' nice to have someone so concerned about me... even if I'm just fishing for unneeded sympathy :)

From montelepsy on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 16:04:12 from 64.235.121.163

I do feel sorry that your princess status has been revoked. Everyone needs their princess time. Especially me.

From Metcalf Running on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 18:08:56 from 207.225.192.66

Monte... don't you see it's all about me... well I guess not any more. Like you said my time has been revoked. Hope you enjoy your princess time. :)
