Lovely run up the parkway. When I start out I'm running east, and the sun was setting enought that it was casting a beautiful pink glow to the snow on the mountains. The trees have dropped all their leaves and in some places along the path I'm running on a wonderful yellow leaf road. Then I turn around and head back west, and OMG!!! the sky was on fire!! You could see the torquiose blues of the sky behind the bright yellow/orange of the clouds. As I ran back the clouds changed from bright fire to reds and pinks, then lavendar. I stood outside the gym until the sun was set. It was glorious!! I almost fell a few times because I could not keep from looking at the sky. I think my average pace was at 9:28 or so, not to bad.

Nice run. I saw that sunset too in Farmington. I was stopped in my tracks. I wanted to run in the house and get my camera for a picture but I didn't want to miss anything!

I'm glad to see that someone else enjoyed it. I thought it was amazing, I could not get over all the people that were out on the streets and not even looking at it.

I love runs like this - where nature treats you to a beautiful show, making getting out the door MORE than worth it! I didn't get quite the same sunset down here, but it was still pretty.

Way to take time to smell the roses.
