Just a nice run tonight. It felt pretty good and easy but I didn't really want to go to far. I ran down the parkway and around the 21 street pond. I was beautiful! I took a few pictures with my phone that I will try to post on my blog. (The link is at the side) I never run with my phone and I don't know if I will do it very often. I got a new phone that is smaller then my old one and I thought I could squeeze it in that little pocket in my running shorts. It worked for the most part but slipped out a few times and I had to hurry and catch it before it fell. One funny thing happened tonight. I had stopped to take a picture and had just put my phone back in the pocket. I was about to start running again when I hear this really pretty music... I kept looking around to see where it was coming from... then it stopped and there was a guy walking towards me, I asked him if he heard the music... he looked at me very strange and said sometimes I just hear voices and kept walking. Then there was the music again... now you all know where this is going... it was my phone.  I realized it the second time. I almost ran after the guy to let him know it was my phone and I'm not crazy but I let it go.

Forgot to turn back on the lap button after my run yesterday... but my AP was 8:57. It also says my Max was 6:14... OK how can I run that fast when I'm taking it easy... and so slow when I was trying to go fast yesterday???

Funny story about not recognizing your phone's ring. I always carry my phone when I run. I have a little carrying case for it that I clip to the waist band of my shorts or pants.

I often forgot to turn the auto lap back on after I've turned it off for a workout. Incidentally, you don't have to turn it off for hill sprints. The auto lap, if you have it set to 1 mile, for example, will record a lap whenever you've got one mile from the end of the previous lap. It doesn't do laps at the miles based on your total distance. So say you started hill sprints when your total distance was 5.9 and you passed the 6 mile mark on your total distance during your hill sprints. If you hit the lap button at 5.9 when you started the hill sprint, the garmin won't record another lap until 6.9, assuming that you don't hit the lap button again before then. In other words, you can hit the lap button at the beginning and end of each hill sprint and the auto lap won't do anything until a mile after you finish your last hill sprint. Does that make sense?

Yep that makes sense... Thanks!
