I ran Green Pond loop with Sue this morning. I was chilly at up there... about 35 degrees. But I over dressed and was got too warm about 1 mile into it. The fall colors were glorious up there I love this run!!! It's one of the last runs I did with Scott before he died. Sue and I talked about how much fun that run had been. Today was similar conditions... frost on the leaves when we started. When we got to the maples/icebox canyon intersection we decided to run down into icebox canyon. It's probably been 3-2 years since I have run down there. Again is was absolutely lovely.

The only down side to the run today was that my breathing is still weird. Like I can't take a deep breath. So it made it difficult to run. Then I had a stabbing pain between my right sholder blade. So bad I had to stop at one point and have Sue try to rub it out while I streatched. It helped a bit. But I'm not going to complain any more. Today was beautiful... the kind of day that reminds me why I'm a runner.

So glad you had a wonderful run and are letting all the beauty and greatness of the run take over the negatives. 35 is SO cold - I'm glad you had the dedication to get up and get out this morning!!!

Way to get out in the cold! I'm glad you had a (mostly) good run. You have beautiful places to run. I hope that breathing thing gets better soon.

Glad you had fun for the most part. It must have been my encouragement beforehand on FaceBook.
