Had to get up and be to work an hour and a half earlier then normal today... so I'm beat!! But I did get a lovely run in :) I decided to do a longer... slower/easier run. I don't know if it was really easy though, I was getting tired by the end. Tried to keep it at about 9mm and I think I did pretty well. Had to stop and have a potty break at about mile 7. Then when I was coming back down the path, the sun was setting and it looked absolutely beautiful! When I looked to the east the mountains look bright red due to the sunset... so cool. There were a few placed along the path that I was running on the yellow brick/leaf path :) all the lovely golden leaves are starting to fall and the path is covered in a few places... so much fun.

On the bad side... the PF in my left heal was bugging almost the entire run... time to get more dilligent with the icing. Hips felt better though... I think because I was at a slower pace.

Sounds like a beautiful run. I still think your runs are pretty speedy.

Thanks!!

Carolyn, you are probably right... for an easy run I think I still need to slow down, but I'm having a hard time doing it! I think if I can slow down my easy runs... maybe just maybe I will conserve my energy so that I can start running faster on my harder/faster runs. I think that is how it's all suposed to work. Easier said then accomplished though.
