Had a pretty good run... I ran down the parkway but only got a couple miles into it when I needed to find a potty...so I went out onto the road and then about .75 miles found a fast food place to have a potty break. Even though it was still light I decided to go back down the parkway. I love running here but there are no street lights so when it gets dark it's really not the best place to run. I snaked my way around the blocks back to the gym to make up for the miles I could not get on the parkway. I don't mind the cold temps, but I hate running in the dark!

Which part of the parkway were you on? I agree it can be creepy in the dark. One time I did a pretty late run down the section around 5400 S down to about 4000 S. It is that section where you run on the bridges over the swamp. That was super creepy.

Jun, I'm down in Ogden. So I basically run the last part of the Ogden Marathon. If I make it all the way to the top... that would me the mouth of the Ogden Canyon. If I run the lower part (But I probably won't until spring, or a Saturday) then I can run around the 21 street pond and down into fort Buenaventura.

For some reason I don't mind running in the dark of the early morning, but I don't want to to run in the dark in the evening. I'm not crazy about the cold temps either.
