So I met up with Sue at the trails this morning it was wonderful! My heart and spirit felt wonderful, but my knee struggled. There was a few other runners on the trail and seeing them effortlessly running down the hills made me sad wondering if that is ever going to be possible again. But I need to focus on what I can do and even thought we hiked more the ran I loved being there!

Then when I called my hubby on the way home to see what he was up to he told me he was heading to the gym.... so I met up with him for an hour of weights! Today felt great, I just hoping I can get my knee feeling better soon.

Now off the do chores and hopefully some doll work, then wait to read the race reports of the bloggers who raced today!!

YAY! for feeling good and having a wonderful morning. You will get back to the pain free down-hill running, it will take time, but you WILL get there!! You are doing a great job recovering, hang in there!!

I am glad your heart and spirit got nourished, anyway! That is certainly the best part of running trails, isn't it?

Yes, that is good news about the wonderful heart and spirit. The knee will come along in time. Good friends and good trails. Very nice. And your hubby seems to be doing very well with the gym.
