So I got up and ran 5.16 in the morning before work!! Can you believe it!! I was just as surprised as you all. But even at 5:15 in the morning when I ran past the city building the temp on the billboard said 67 degrees... Yuck, we are having some record breaking temps. I really need to make sure I try my best to get my running done in the mornings.
Then I ran about 1.25 miles in my engineers BRAT race. Fun but very hot! For being the first girl to participate in the race I got a bike jersey and a pool float. It was pretty crazy!

Hope I get a good nights sleep and hope to see a few bloggers at TOU half tomorrow!

On a side note: One of my ultra marathon friends asked that I pace another friend for about 16 miles of the Wasatch 100. I have not given my answer yet, I'm nervouse to do it. I ran and trained to pace my friend before he died, but when he ran in the Wasatch 100 he DNF'd before he got to where I was going to pace him. I have also worked at the Brighton aid station one year. So not sure what I will do... I told him I needed to go on some training runs with them.

Woo hoo!! Way to go getting up early. I'm so proud of you!

And aren't you awesome being the first girl to participate in that BRAT race.

I can see why you're hesitant to pace your friend in the Wasatch 100. It sounds like it hasn't been your best experience in the past, but maybe it would be restorative.
