So I could not sleep last night... first my youngest daughter was out with some friends. I have a very hard time falling asleep when my kids are not home. I'm getting better when it comes to my youngest son, but for some reason it has not clicked yet with my daughter. After about 40 minutes of trying to sleep I got up and went to my doll room/studio and worked on a pair of hands for a new doll that I have been working on. Then I made my biggest mistake... I got on the computer to see what time the movie she went to was going to get out, and I got draw in to the time suck of the internet...all the wonderful info on so many things right at your finger tips. Sometimes it is just too enticing! So even after I made my way back to my bed, it took me a while to shut down my brain from all the things I was looking at. To most people pretty borning doll stuff LOL to me it's like heroin! Needless to say when the alarm went off for a morning run I turned it off and went back to sleep. I will be double fisting the diet Dr. Pepper to keep me going at work.

Also on a somewhat related note... I have been so forgetful lately. Misplacing my purse, my braces and then this morning I packed my gym bag for my run after work and when I got to work I realized it is still back home somewhere. Probably by the door waiting for me to pick it up! Let's hope this is a passing phase that will pass me by soon. I hate the feeling that I'm loosing it.

** Update after work:

4 slow/easy miles... called my running friend and she wants to do 12-13 tomorrow. We are planning to do TOU 1/2 in a few weeks... maybe I should be planning better for it??

What a rough night. I'll bet the sleeplessness is contributing to the forgetfullness. Get some sleep! Make those kids stay home so that you can sleep.

We all forget things. I think you're just noticing that you're forgetting things. So that's a good sign.

If you do the 12 or 13 tomorrow, that will help you get ready for the half.
