On a personal note today... I dont' think I have told any of you that I have had a second husband for the past few months LOL Just kidding... My husbands friend got a divorce and him and his 13 year old daughter have been living with us. At first it was a bit hard, but oh so quickly I got used to dinner cooked 90% of the time when I got home from work, I have not loaded or unloaded my dishwasher in I can't remember how long. He has kept my kitchen sparkling clean and organized, shopped for 80% of the groceries... the only things I have had to keep up are the vacuming, my families wash, and making my bed. Well he just put an offer on a house and I think they have accepted. I happy for him, but man I'm going to miss having a second husband, he has been so helpful. I told my real husband (number 1) that he is going to have to step it up LOL. So even though I'm sure he is happy to have his own place, there is a part of me that if hoping it won't work out, I know that it evil, and I am sorry for thinking that way. So I might be in a big depression soon... just a heads up for your guys LOL.

My run tonight did nto feel very good... had some tummy issues and had to stop at a store for a potty break.  Then was just VERY sluggish, maybe two days in a row feeling good was just too much for me. I guess it's a good thing that I need to start a mini taper. Plan is to have a slow easy 5 miler tomorrow, then no run, or maybe just a couple on Friday, race Saturday.

That sounds PERFECT! I am sorry you are losing #2. Poor #1 is in for a rude awakening. I bet he likes the dinner cooked too. There is nothing better than coming home to a really great dinner (even sort of good will do). I feel your pain and here's hoping the original man had taken a hint ;)

any miles today? Are you gonna kick your bum? We could call it bum kicking Wednesday from now on ;)

Finally got the miles in Marion... no bum kickin ones though :( I hope this is not an indication of what Saturday will be.

I always figured I needed a wife to do the housework, but I guess a second husband would do if he was the right kind of guy.

I hope your tummy troubles are all gone. Take it easy and I'll see you on Friday and/or Saturday.
