No run today... I have a massage planned for tonight after work. I hope it will help get all the kinks out. I'm still up in the air about running Friday or not. If I do I think it will just be a slow 3-4 miles. But I'm leaning towards not, any ideas? I know that this is all a very personal thing for people, everyone is different.

For those of you that want to stop be my house after the marathon. Please PM me and I will give you my address and/or cell number. I don't know if I should just post it out on the blog ( not that I don't trust you all )LOL

You can shower up if you have a drive or no other place. I will have some rootbeer floats and we can all just hang out and relax. It would be great to see many of you face-to-face.

GOOD LUCK Lori!! You know this course like the back of your hand. You have trained hard and smart. You are gonna do AWESOME!!!

I regret that I won't be able to come to your lovely home. Rootbeer float is my favorite. You can't get rootbeer overseas. May be next time!

Oh, enjoy the massage. As for a run the day before. I've done both. Usually I only run if I have the time and feel like it. Some people think it helps them sleep better at night if they run a little to loosen things up. Don't think it makes much difference. BEST LUCK!

I'm with Smooth on the run thing. I rarely if ever run on Fridays before a long run Saturday so I'm on the no run boat. However, I have heard SO many different taper do's and don'ts that I think its up to you and how you feel...just don't push so you end up with tired legs!!

I'll be PMing you for your address!! I'm so excited to meet up and Partay :)

I am finally letting the excitement of the race burn off my little black rain cloud ;) We are going to have so much fun! I mapquested your house and Union Station. FUN!

I say NO run :) But that could be the little black rain cloud talking ;)

If you can think back to how you usually feel after a day off and go by that, that's what I would recommend. For me, a day off always leaves me perky and 2 days = electric legs! But for a lot of runners, a day off leaves them sluggish.

Whatever you decide - have a wonderful race and enjoy being the healthy person that you are!!!!
