Got up before work today YAHOOOO and got in a few miles. The plan is to go to the gym and get a few more after work, also do a bit of weights (Blah)

So this morning was a pretty good run. Are the days already getting shorter? It seemed much darker this morning then it has in a while. Maybe I was out a bit earlier or many there just wasn't any moon this morning. My headlight got broke the other day so I will need to buy a new one soon. Because it was so dark I loop the neighborhood a bit til I felt more comfortable. As I got to the top of the hill, and headed down another street, I looked up just in time to see a shooting star... so cool. It was just before it was too light to see any stars. I ran part of the 5K course I ran a few weeks ago, then did 3 hill repeats by the round-a-bout. This is the hill I normally do hill work on (Not that I do it that often) but instead of just turning around at the top and running down, I went around the round-a-bout that is by it. I think I like doing it this way... it gives me a bit of a break to catch my breath. I don't know if that is how you should do hill work though. I would have gotten about 1/2 a miles more but as I was coming down the hill back to my house my tummy really started to bug, so I just went straight home.

*Went to the gym after work and got three more miles in on the treadmill. Then did upper body weights and core work.

It seemed noticeably darker to me this morning too. Just seems to happen overnight!

I wonder if we saw the same shooting star, seriously. I saw two this morning, the last one was just before it was too light to see the stars any more. Sounds like the same one.

Oh, and i don't know if you wished on your shooting star, but I did. I wished that I wouldn't get eaten by a mountain lion. It came true.

JD... weird it did seem to happed so fast, I'm hoping it's just because there was no moon.

Jun... of course I wished on the shooting star who wouldn't. I'm glad yours came true... cool that we were seeing it at the same time.

I think the days are getting shorter, but it's not like I would know. I've been sleeping in.

Your run around the neighborhood with the hills sounds great. And great job running twice today!

To answer you question Lori, I wouldn't. I love seeing shooting stars, but I never wish upon them.

Nice work Lori! Those tummies need to find a good resting place while we run I think! You are killing those miles already this week, nice work!!
