Could not sleep well last night. We watched a movie that I think caused me to have some weird sleep. It was a good movie, I can't remember the name right now, it has the guy that has been the last 007. He was a jew that helped his brothers and about 200 other jews live in the forrest to get away from the Nazi's. Anyway I was up early so I decied to go for a run. Got in a few miles, felt pretty good, had a bit of tummy trouble towards the end, so it was good that I didn't run any farther.  I will probably get a few more after work.

5:00am  - 3.50 miles - 31:18

laps: 9:18, 9:11, 8:26, 8:49

After work, I ran 5 miles on the parkway. As I was passing the skatepark I was looking over at the kids there, I always do because I know sometimes my son and some of his friends will still go down and skate board some, and sure enough there was my son waving at me :) After I was done we meet up so I could drive him home. He had been biking all over today.

That is funny coincidence. I just put it on my Netflix queue this morning. "Defiance." I expect it is a bit disturbing, but so many people have recommended it. I lost many relatives to the holocaust. Not that I knew them, but holocaust movies have both a repulsion and attraction to me because they seem so close.

Sorry you couldn't sleep! I also watched a good movie but one of those that makes your mind wonder afterwards... It's called "The diving bell and the butterfly", and it's based on a book written by a former editor for Elle magazine in France who dictated the entire book by blinking because he was completely paralized after having a stroke. Extremely touching.

I watched that movie a week or so ago, and found it really good but disturbing. Kept thinking about it for many days. I'm not surprised it kept you from sleeping!

Sounds like a good movie, but sorry you couldn't sleep. You must have been feeling good though, before the tummy troubles came, because you were running fast!

Sno... yep that is the movie. I enjoyed it more then I thought I would, but it was just one of those movies that makes you think ALOT. Couldn't quite shut muself down enough to get some good sleep.

Lucia - that movie sounds interesting, might have to check it out.

Auntieem - Sounds like it effected you also. Yep it's one of those movies that makes you think. Especially since it was a true story.

Carolyn...I felt pretty good, I hope I can get a few more miles in. Tummy still bugged for a bit after I got to work. But it seems to finally be calming down.

I like Caroyn's response after everyone else said it's disturbing. "Disturbing? Sounds great." LOL!

Dang, i was too late to tell you the title of the movie!! I actually knew that one. We saw it in the theaters and just bought it when it came out. It was pretty good. I love true stories like that!

Good job running twice!!!

Kelli - if it wasn't for your rated R moving watching, you would probably be translated straight to heaven.

Nice work Lori!! Sorry about the movie, I've noticed the older I get the more those kind of things effect me. (NOT saying your old!!!!) Hopefully that tummy gets better too.
