5 miles on the elliptical with a couple of hard/fast/steep intervals mixed in. Then chest, back and leg weights. The one mile run on the indoor track. All in all felt pretty good.

So as you can see I didn't get to the gym after all my appointments yesterday... and how did they go you ask? Well I still pretty much hate the knee surgen, I'm sure he is very good at what is does, but because I'm not a top rated collegent runner, or someone who performs at that level, and also because I'm over 40, I feel that he dose not want to help me at all. He basically told me that I can deal with things the way they are, until they get worse and then he will see me to replace my knee. I told him, "I don't think you will ever see me again." So I left there feel very angry! What an A## H*%# !! Then I went to my NP doc, still very frustrated with my health, she was much better at dealing with me, but I told her, if things don't get feeling better soon just get me a gun! Yes I was being dramatic, but I guess I really wanted her to know, things need to change. We decided to add some new meds, change some dosing of others, hope that the dietary changes I have been making will start helping soon, and then I will get my blood drawn in a few weeks and see what has happened. Soooo frustrating!!! But I'm hopful that things are turing around, with my running and my health, I have to be positive with things... that is at least 90% of the battle.

wow I agree about your surgeon! He should be supportive of you getting back and not be a bum about it even if you aren't a 'top' runner!!!

I hope that things get better and that the changes with your NP help to get you back to 100%

Sorry about your sucky appointments. Keep eating styrofoam!

Ahhhh!! Frustrating indeed! You're in my thoughts! Hopefully today is a bit better!

Sometimes those doctors are a little too full of themselves. And he's a surgeon. He just wants to cut, I guess.

Good luck with the meds and the food changes. I hope it works for you and that you get feeling better.

What an infuriating doctor!! He sounds hideous. Is there another option; someone who might be a little more helpful and supportive?

Hope the visit to the NP turns out better.
