Well I had this all figured and ready, was about to put my lap time in for my last leg and found out my Garmin was dead. Then my entry was not saved and I could find it. Hmm I will try to redo it all for you.

Second Run: started at about 2:00am was a great night nice a cool. But last year the moon must have been fuller, we just had a tiny fingernail sliver, so I could not see the see the water that I was running around as well as I remembered it last year. Some rolly hills through out this run. Felt good and passed numerous runner during this portion. The first one I passed was the older gentleman I could not catch on the first leg. :) Victory!!

9.43 Miles - laps: 9:04, 8:42, 8:55, 8:54, 9:14, 8:59, 8:53, 8:57, 8:52, (last 43 - 9:02)

Third leg: The hill I had been dreading! I got to start my last run at about noon, and by now there was a steady rain. So I put on the jacket I had brought and started off. About 1/2 a mile into my run I realized that I was too warm, so I started to take off my jacket. In my sleep deprived state I somehow got my sleeve caught around my Garmin on one wrist and my ipod on my other. I looked like I was in some sort of a straight jacket. After struggling for a few seconds looking like a complete idiot, I turned back to the runner behind me and asked for a hand. He was kind enough to walk with me a bit and help me out of the situation. I could hear my Garmin beeping in protest as we were trying to figure out how to get my jacket off me. So I think some of my times might not be accurate, but I'm sure it's not too far off. Passed my jacket off to the van when I caught up to then and marched on. I was happy to be able to pass a few people on this leg! About 20 yards to the finish I saw Smooth... gave her a hug... she told me to get going I was almost finished, but it was so fun to see a blogger there. Got to the finish and my team mate gave me a big hug and squoze the last bit of breath I had in my lung LOL. Smooth cheered me on, she even took my picture! When I got back to my van they had ice cream waiting for me... what a team.

3.57 miles Laps: 9:46, 12:51, 14:14, (.57 - 15:03) Those are some sloooooowww miles LOL how embarrasing!

Lori, you did GREAT!!! I did #9 as well and should've gotten your number, because we would've seen each other at a few of the exchanges...I don't think you were far behind us! I saw Smooth at the last Van exchange, so I probably would've caught you as well :( Glad your first van was able to feel better and finish it out! That last leg was CRAZY, but it is an AMAZING accomplishment to just finish! So happy you had some good runs and a good time at the race...YOU DID AWESOME LADY!!! Sorry I missed you, would've LOVED to have chatted a bit!

Great job on a tough challenge, Lori! I'm sure the jacket incident was distressing at the time, but quite funny in the retelling! Forget splits for that last leg - anyone who can run on so little sleep at all is elite in my book! Rest well!

AWESOME WORK!!!!! That hill was a beast!!!

So, did you have fun? And how the heck did they have ice cream waiting for you? Where did they get it? You lucky duck!

Sno, the jacket incident was funny all the way around!!

Kelli, my team mates had pack a cooler with dry ice and had ice cream and popcicles. Last year when it was so hot, it was such a wonderful treat. Even with the rain ice cream made that hill worth it :)

That is a great idea!!! hot or not, ice cream is good!

Lori,

It was SO SO SO SO FUN to see you finish that monster Ragnar in the downpour. You were wonderful. You did AWESOME! Yes, I have a picture to proof your AWESOME TRIUMPHANT finish. How cool is that to have ice cream. It's such a "crime" really! I think that old gentleman you passed might have been Lowell. He had a bright yellow light jacket on and shed it by the first mile on that leg too.

AGAIN, CONGRATS on an awesome Ragnar finish, you totally rock!!!
